Senior It Support Analyst

This role is for a Senior IT Support Analyst at Handshake, a company that has recently launched Handshake AI. The role focuses on providing Tier 2/3 IT support, scaling IT operations, improving processes, implementing automation, and managing IT systems for a distributed workforce. Key responsibilities include hardware and software support, identity and access management, endpoint management, and driving process and security improvements. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of IT support experience, familiarity with macOS and Windows, and experience with various IT tools and cloud-first environments. A builder mentality and strong communication skills are essential.

What you'd actually do

  1. Provide Tier 2/3 support across hardware, SaaS apps, identity systems, and collaboration tools
  2. Improve onboarding/offboarding workflows and automate where possible
  3. Create and maintain documentation and internal knowledge bases
  4. Work closely with People Ops, Finance, Security, and Engineering

Skills

Required

  • 5+ years of IT support experience
  • Experience supporting both macOS and Windows
  • Google Workspace
  • Slack
  • Okta or other IAM platforms
  • Endpoint management tools (Jamf, Intune, Kandji, etc.)
  • ITSM systems (Jira, Linear, ServiceNow, etc.)
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, SaaS, networking basics, and identity
  • Experience with SaaS administration and lifecycle management
  • Comfortable working in cloud-first environments
  • Builder mentality
  • Highly organized and documentation-driven
  • Bias toward action and ownership
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and rapid change
  • Strong communicator

Nice to have

  • Basic scripting or automation skills (PowerShell, Bash, or similar) preferred
