Senior Lead, Channel Strategy – Partner Marketing

Salesforce Salesforce · Enterprise · San Francisco, CA

This role focuses on channel strategy for partner marketing at Salesforce, a company that positions itself as an AI CRM. The Senior Lead will define and execute distribution strategies across various channels, optimize communications using AI-synthesized data, manage martech tools, and stay updated on AI-powered tools and platform innovations. A key responsibility is to serve as the Ethical Guardian of AI-driven content, ensuring brand integrity and cultural nuance. While the role leverages AI tools and discusses AI extensively, its core function is marketing strategy and execution, not the direct development or research of AI models.

What you'd actually do

  1. Define and execute channel distribution strategies for key partner marketing messages across email, Partner Community, Slack, social, Salesforce.com, and other emerging channels
  2. Translate AI-synthesized channel performance data into optimization strategies, adopting a “fail fast” mentality
  3. Own and manage the martech tools that power our partner communications (including Marketing Cloud Account Engagement), ensuring they're configured, integrated, and operating effectively
  4. Stay ahead of industry trends, AI-powered tools, and platform innovations to bring fresh thinking to our channel approach
  5. Drive the team’s AI engine by updating AI notebooks and documentation, sharing hero prompts, and replacing manual execution with automated approaches
