This role is for a Senior Lead in Enterprise Compliance at Chime, a fintech company. The primary focus is advising Product, Engineering, Legal, Risk, and Operations teams on complex consumer financial regulations to ensure compliant and scalable product launches. The role involves reviewing product collateral, disclosures, and marketing materials, leading compliance readiness for new products, and driving cross-functional compliance initiatives. Experience with UDAAP, Regulation E, Regulation Z, ECOA/Regulation B, FCRA, Regulation DD, and Bank Secrecy Act is required. This is a senior-level product-focused role with a strong emphasis on regulatory compliance within the fintech domain.

What you'd actually do

  1. Serve as the primary compliance advisor supporting Chime Enterprise’s B2B and B2C products, features, and strategic initiatives.
  2. Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Legal, Risk, Operations, and external bank partners to identify compliance requirements early in the product development lifecycle.
  3. Review and approve product collateral, disclosures, user experiences, and marketing materials while developing scalable review frameworks and standards.
  4. Lead compliance readiness efforts for new product launches by proactively identifying regulatory risks and developing practical mitigation strategies.
  5. Drive cross-functional compliance initiatives, issue remediation efforts, and program enhancements across multiple business lines and regulatory domains.

Skills

Required

  • 9+ years of consumer compliance experience within fintech, banking, financial services, or related regulated environments.
  • 7+ years of experience providing compliance advisory support throughout
  • Deep expertise across multiple consumer financial regulations including UDAAP, Regulation E, Regulation Z, ECOA/Regulation B, FCRA, Regulation DD, Bank Secrecy Act requirements, and applicable state regulations.
  • Experience providing compliance advisory support throughout product design, development, launch, and marketing review processes.
  • Demonstrated success influencing cross-functional stakeholders and driving compliance outcomes across complex organizations.
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into actionable business guidance.
  • Experience developing and enhancing compliance programs, procedures, controls, governance frameworks, and reporting processes.

Nice to have

  • CRCM, JD, or equivalent compliance certification or advanced expertise preferred.
