Senior Lead Cybersecurity Architect responsible for shaping and implementing cybersecurity solutions for software applications and platform products within a large financial institution. What you'd actually do

  1. Guide the evaluation of current cybersecurity principles, processes, and controls, and lead the assessment of new technology using established standards and frameworks
  2. Provide regular technical guidance and direction to support the business, technical teams, contractors, and vendors
  3. Partner with stakeholders and senior leaders to recommend business modifications during periods of vulnerability
  4. Serve as a function-wide subject matter expert in one or more areas of focus
  5. Actively contribute to the engineering community as an advocate of software development life cycle practices, frameworks, and tools

Skills

Required

  • Formal training or certification on security concepts
  • 5+ years of applied experience
  • Hands-on experience delivering enterprise-level cybersecurity solutions and controls
  • Advanced skill in one or more programming languages or applications
  • Advanced knowledge of cybersecurity architecture, applications, and technical processes
  • Deep expertise in one or more technical disciplines (e.g., public cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, or mobile)
  • Ability to independently tackle design and functionality problems with little to no oversight
  • Ability to evaluate current and emerging technologies to select or recommend solutions aligned to a future-state architecture
