Senior Lean Practitioner

This role focuses on implementing and driving Lean initiatives and culture within Boeing's Defense, Space & Security (BDS) division, specifically supporting a proprietary program. The Senior Lean Practitioner will coach teams, teach Lean tools, develop training programs, and use data analysis to improve efficiency and reduce waste in manufacturing and production systems. The role requires extensive experience in Lean principles and workshop facilitation within a manufacturing environment.

What you'd actually do

  1. Coach and Facilitate Lean activities and initiatives across various programs & functions
  2. Teach and apply applicable lean tools (e.g. Problem solving, Kaizen workshops, 3p, Value Steam mapping, Process mapping, 5s) and process analysis to identify areas for improvement
  3. Develop, deploy and execute integrated continuous improvement strategy and assist with its strategic deployment
  4. Develop and implement Lean training programs for employees at all levels
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement efforts, facilitate cross-team best-practice sharing, and promote replication of successful process improvements across the organization.
