Senior Legal Engineer - Product Specialist

This role focuses on integrating Harvey's AI solutions into legal workflows, driving customer adoption, and providing product feedback. It requires legal expertise and client-facing skills to act as a trusted advisor on AI's application in legal practice.

What you'd actually do

  1. Build high-impact, trusted relationships with senior stakeholders — including practice leaders, deputy GCs, and managing partners — at law firms and in-house legal teams, serving as a strategic advisor on incorporating Harvey into their most critical workflows.
  2. Design and lead sophisticated onboarding programs, trainings, and ongoing enablement at scale, including high-energy one-to-many sessions and bespoke 1:1 engagements with partners and power users, ultimately driving deep, durable adoption of Harvey's platform.
  3. Serve as a strategic partner to Customer Success Managers and Account Executives on complex, high-value accounts, shaping account strategy, identifying expansion opportunities, and supporting renewals through demonstrated impact and strong relationships.
  4. Anticipate and proactively address adoption obstacles by applying deep legal expertise and nuanced understanding of how lawyers work, developing and implementing tailored strategies that meet customers where they are.
  5. Translate sophisticated legal practice needs into actionable product and model feedback, partnering with Product, Engineering, and Applied AI teams to influence roadmap priorities through domain-grounded insights.

Skills

Required

  • JD or equivalent legal qualification
  • At least 5 years of post-JD experience practicing law at a top-tier law firm or in-house at a Fortune 1000 or equivalent
  • strong depth of expertise in your given field of practice

  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills across audiences
