Senior Maintenance Engineer role focused on developing and implementing comprehensive Maintenance Programs for new aircraft projects, leading program strategies, conducting engineering analysis (MSG-3), and collaborating with design teams to ensure maintainability and achieve type certification.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead program strategies with internal and external stakeholders develop maintenance programs for new aircraft projects.Develop and improve processes to support initial type certification and recurring revisions to the maintenance program, including regulatory facing policies.
  2. Work closely with other members of the design organization to ensure the design meets the needs of the maintenance team including feeding back field information into the design.
  3. Coordinate for assigned chapters the different maintenance task types, including airworthiness limitations and recommended maintenance.
  4. Conduct engineering analysis (MSG-3) to support maintenance program deliverables and determine appropriate maintenance tasks and intervals
  5. Guide periphery efforts which impact maintenance including troubleshooting, MMEL, aircraft operational performance analysis and processes.
