Senior Manager for Visa Consulting and Analytics (VCA) in North America, focusing on selling and delivering consulting projects for large US Financial Institutions and Issuing Banks. Responsibilities include managing a sales pipeline, leading project work, developing strategies for clients in areas like profitability, growth, customer experience, and risk management, and building scalable solutions. Requires strong analytical skills, payments/financial services experience, and sales experience.

What you'd actually do

  1. Managing a sales pipeline within an identified list of client targets and selling consulting work against a sales target of $2-3M annually.
  2. Lead consulting project work, which involves:
  3. Build new scalable solutions, toolkits, best practice documents and consulting approach that can be applied across VCA practice.
  4. The ideal candidate will be able to juggle multiple tasks, have demonstrated experience closing sales, and understand the debit/credit payments space and nuances within the Super Regional client segment.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree
  • Payments/Financial Services experience
  • Strong Analytical/Quantitative Background
  • Experience working with financial indicators to measure business performance
  • Self-motivated, results oriented individual with the ability to handle numerous projects concurrently
  • Knowledge and understanding of banking operations and/ or payment schemes, including products & services, business systems and processes, marketing initiatives and card issuing experience
  • Excellent communication, story-telling, and presentation skills

Nice to have

  • 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD
  • Relevant experience at large management consulting firm or US Financial Institution
  • Significant focus on impacting ROI
  • 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD
