Senior Manager, Accounting to lead and scale critical accounting operations within CoreWeave’s Global Business Services organization, overseeing payroll accounting, commissions accounting, and core accounting processing. The role partners closely with Corporate Accounting leadership to ensure accurate financial reporting, SOX-compliant controls, and continuous process improvement across Record-to-Report (R2R) activities, supporting CoreWeave’s rapid growth and public-company readiness.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead and scale critical accounting operations within CoreWeave’s Global Business Services organization.
  2. Oversee payroll accounting, commissions accounting, and core accounting processing performed by the GBS team.
  3. Partner closely with Corporate Accounting leadership to ensure accurate financial reporting, SOX-compliant controls, and continuous process improvement across Record-to-Report (R2R) activities.
  4. Support CoreWeave’s rapid growth and public-company readiness.
  5. Manage offshore or nearshore accounting teams.

Skills

Required

  • 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including operational or shared services leadership
  • 3+ years of people management experience, including managing managers or global teams
  • Demonstrated experience overseeing payroll accounting and incentive compensation accruals
  • Demonstrated experience overseeing commissions accounting
  • Proven experience managing offshore or nearshore accounting teams
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and Record-to-Report (R2R) processes
  • Hands-on experience operating in a SOX 404–compliant, publicly traded company environment
  • Proven ability to support month-end and quarter-end close
  • Experience working with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Workday, or similar)
  • Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with large, complex data sets

Nice to have

  • CPA or equivalent accounting certification
  • Experience in a Global Business Services or Shared Services operating model
  • Experience supporting high-growth technology, cloud, or infrastructure companies
  • Experience partnering cross-functionally with People Operations, Sales Operations, and FP&A
  • Exposure to accounting automation, workflow tools, or process transformation initiatives
  • Experience supporting M&A integrations or scaling accounting operations globally
