This role is a Senior Manager of Business Development focused on strategic partnerships within Uber's autonomous vehicle (AV) division. The primary responsibility is to negotiate and manage deals that accelerate the AV Labs team's efforts, including operationalizing a large-scale data collection fleet. What you'd actually do

  1. Lead complex, multifaceted deals with prospective partners across the autonomous vehicle value chain
  2. Be a strategic thought partner to team members in different parts of the business, working closely with Ops and Product leadership to formulate strategy and identify how to drive impact through partnerships
  3. Build consensus behind deal strategy and timely support for deal execution across diverse internal audiences, from senior executives to cross-functional stakeholders
  4. Lead the development of long term, mutually beneficial relationships with senior executives of current and prospective partners.
  5. Define the right balance between near traction and securing value across a long time horizon
