Senior Manager, Box Consulting Strategy and Operations

This role is for a Senior Manager of Box Consulting Strategy and Operations. The primary focus is on scaling the professional services business, driving operational efficiency, and supporting strategic initiatives. While the role involves implementing AI-accelerated operations using Box AI tools, the core function is not building AI models but rather leveraging AI tools to improve business operations and service delivery. The role requires strong operational acumen, experience in professional services, and leadership skills to manage a team responsible for forecasting, planning, reporting, and process optimization.

What you'd actually do

  1. Partner with Box Consulting leadership to help set services strategy and operating model, as it ties to company priorities
  2. Drive operational cadences across bookings, delivery, utilization, and revenue, ensuring alignment with company targets
  3. Develop, analyze, and report on key KPIs related to pipeline, bookings, revenue, utilization, staffing, and project performance to support data-driven decision-making
  4. Design and scale operational processes that increase efficiency, visibility, and accountability across project delivery, subcontracting, and capacity planning
  5. Build and scale our Partner Services program with clear tiers, enablement plans, SLAs, and scorecards; implement separate partner P&L tracking and reporting.

Skills

Required

  • 8+ years of experience in Professional Services Operations, Business Operations, or Strategy roles
  • 5+ years in a leadership or people management capacity
  • Strategic thinking and operational acumen
  • Experience managing forecasting, planning, and analytics within a high-growth technology or SaaS environment
  • Deep understanding of consulting or services financials
  • Skilled in data analysis and modeling
  • Advanced Excel and presentation capabilities
  • Deep familiarity with PSA solutions (e.g. Kantata/Certinia/OpenAir)
  • Familiarity with CRM (Salesforce)
  • Familiarity with project management tools
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management
