This role is for a Senior Manager of Business Development focused on External Partnerships within Capital One's Mainstreet Product & Experiences organization. The primary responsibilities include leading and managing a network of partners, identifying growth opportunities, collaborating with internal teams, and developing best practices for partnership onboarding and management. The role requires experience in business development, partnerships, or relationship management, with a focus on financial domains like credit bureaus and fintechs.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead & manage your partnership portfolio like a business through a growing team of junior associates: develop and execute growth strategies; track and monitor performance; and complete analysis to identify areas of risk and opportunity
  2. Understand the products and services offered by each partner, and create specific initiatives to support Capital One’s financial health products & experiences including CreditWise
  3. Uncover opportunities to improve commercial relationships; summarize and articulate to internal teams, and develop the strategic plan to execute, in collaboration with internal stakeholders
  4. Organize, schedule and conduct regular calls with each partner, and in-person business and product reviews
  5. Work with financial teams on forecast and revenue projections for partnerships

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Military experience
  • 6 years of Business Development, Partnerships, or Relationship Management experience
  • 5 years experience in a customer-facing role
