What you'd actually do

  1. Serve as a strategic partner to Card executives to plan and prepare effective, thoughtful and engaging internal communications that educate, inform, connect and inspire team members.
  2. Lead all facets of communications including all-employee meetings, digital/video storytelling, leader blogs, speaking engagements, team events and organizational change management.
  3. Elevate stories from within client group to fuel our Card-wide editorial calendar
  4. Evaluate performance for communications based on real-time metrics and other key performance indicators to recommend strategy and refine as needed.
  5. Partner with HR, Chiefs of Staff, line of business communicators, Corporate Communications, and other partners to deliver on tactics and strategic outcomes.

Skills

Required

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification
  • At least 8 years of work experience in a communications role in a business environment OR at least 8 years of work experience in a communications role in an agency environment OR a combination of both.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's Degree or military experience
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong business acumen and executive presence with a history of cultivating trusting relationships with executive leaders.
  • The ability to distill complex and sometimes voluminous content into clear, concise and engaging communications.
  • Experience leveraging data to create and execute communications strategies, plans, programs and events.
