Senior Manager, Cloud Infrastructure Engineer at Pfizer responsible for architecting, building, and operating cloud-native infrastructure (AWS/Azure) to support AI/ML workloads, data pipelines, and model execution. This includes owning infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, and MLOps components, ensuring reliability, security, and scalability for analytics and ML teams. The role focuses on enabling AI/ML infrastructure without directly owning data science outcomes.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead the design, build, and operation of cloud-native infrastructure across AWS and/or Azure, supporting application, data, and ML workloads.
  2. Own infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible, Helm) and Git-based workflows to ensure repeatable, auditable, and scalable environments.
  3. Operate and evolve standardized CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions) for services, data pipelines, and ML deployments, aligned to enterprise platform standards.
  4. Implement and maintain platform capabilities including: Kubernetes/Docker runtime environments, Identity, access management, and policy enforcement, Secrets management and configuration governance
  5. Support analytics and ML teams by providing secure, scalable, and reliable infrastructure for data pipelines and model execution.

Skills

Required

  • BA/BS with 6+ years of relative experience
  • Proven expertise in collaborating with sponsors and business leadership teams to develop and deliver technology roadmaps, strategies, and operating plans
  • Demonstrated understanding of key Agile techniques and a deep comprehension of systems and information architecture
  • Broad knowledge of corporate enterprise systems
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities

  • Master's degree with relevant pharmaceutical industry experience
