What you'd actually do

  1. Develop and deliver commercial strategies to support business cases, bids, proposals and major programs
  2. Provide high‑quality commercial advice to senior leadership on risk, pricing, contracting and negotiation strategy
  3. Identify, manage and escalate complex commercial risks and issues across opportunities and programs
  4. Lead or support complex, high‑value commercial negotiations
  5. Act as the central commercial integrator, ensuring alignment across functions and clear decision‑making

Required

  • Senior commercial leadership experience
  • Experience in complex, regulated environments
  • Experience in defense or comparable regulated industry (aerospace, infrastructure, energy, government, major projects)
  • Proven experience developing and executing commercial strategies for high-value, long-term programs
  • Strong track record in complex negotiations and commercial risk management
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to influence outcomes without direct authority
  • Tertiary qualifications in law, commerce, business, economics or a related discipline
