What you'd actually do

  1. Own the commercialization of a portfolio of products, collaborating closely with product management, go-to-market, marketing, finance, and enablement teams to develop go-to-market strategies, launch new products, and achieve target metrics and goals.
  2. Define product pricing, including packaging, preferred structures, and standard approaches to achieve Marqeta's growth objectives.
  3. Conduct comprehensive market, industry, and competitive research.
  4. Collaborate with sales teams to identify targets and GTM strategy, establish first beta customers, and oversee deals through contracting.
  5. Promote strong governance and a culture of data-driven decision making.

Skills

Required

  • 8+ years of go-to-market, business development, management consulting or revenue operations experience.
  • Proven experience in FinTech, financial services, or B2B SaaS environments.
  • Track record of bringing products or solutions to market and scaling commercial outcomes.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and financial modeling.
  • Expertise in customer segmentation, pricing strategies, and competitive positioning.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments.

Nice to have

  • MBA or advanced degree and/or equivalent experience at a top-tier management consulting firm (McKinsey, Bain, BCG, or similar).
  • Payments, lending or fintech experience with a deep understanding of the financial services regulatory environment and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred), marketing automation tools, and revenue operations systems
  • Background in enterprise software sales or business development.
