This role is for a Senior Manager of Commissioning at Crusoe, an AI infrastructure company focused on energy and compute. What you'd actually do

  1. Manage and mentor a team of Commissioning Managers and Engineers, providing direction, support, and professional development across multiple concurrent projects.
  2. Oversee commissioning execution across your portfolio of data center builds, expansions, and retrofits, holding the team accountable to schedule, quality, and scope.
  3. Implement and uphold Crusoe's commissioning standards, templates, and workflows to ensure consistency and quality across all projects.
  4. Oversee third-party commissioning agents and ensure your team is coordinating effectively with design, construction, and operations stakeholders from pre-functional testing through turnover.
  5. Review and approve commissioning documentation including test procedures, scripts, MOPs, and acceptance criteria.

Skills

Required

  • 10+ years of experience in commissioning data centers, mission-critical facilities, or large-scale infrastructure.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience managing commissioning teams or programs.
  • Strong understanding of MEP systems, controls integration (BMS/EPMS), and commissioning best practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects across different stages of design and construction.
  • Experience coordinating with general contractors, OEMs, and third-party commissioning firms.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with a detail-oriented and data-driven approach to execution.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline

  • PE license or CxA certification a plus
