Senior Manager, Compute Infrastructure Procurement Operations - Lease Administration

This role is responsible for managing the operational layer of Anthropic's Compute Infrastructure lease portfolio, including data centers and equipment finance leases. It involves ensuring data hygiene, tracking critical dates, auditing bills, processing payments, and integrating with financial systems. The role requires experience with Lease Management Systems (LMS) and familiarity with ASC 842 and SOX compliance. Preferred qualifications include extensive lease administration experience, especially in data center operations, and familiarity with AI/ML infrastructure.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lease abstraction and system data hygiene ingest new leases and amendments into the LMS with clean, complete data; maintain the record of truth across all portfolio categories
  2. Critical-date tracking and routing monitor renewal windows, option deadlines, and notice periods; flag and route decisions to the right stakeholders (Infra / Workplace) with enough lead time to act
  3. Landlord billing audits review landlord invoices against lease terms, dispute errors, and reconcile CAM charges across the co-location and real estate portfolio
  4. Rent payment processing and AP coding ensure rent and lease payments are processed accurately and on time; maintain correct GL coding at the source
  5. Landlord billing ops and payment escalations manage payment workflows and escalate commercial disputes to the appropriate Infra or Workplace relationship owner

What the JD emphasized

  • Experience implementing or operating an LMS (CoStar, Workday Lease, or equivalent)
  • A sharp eye for billing errors you've caught CAM discrepancies and wrong invoice amounts and know how to back them up with lease language
  • Enough familiarity with ASC 842 to support an accounting team, flag data problems upstream, and maintain a defensible subledger
  • AP process fluency - you understand how payments, POs, and GL coding work and can partner with a Finance Systems team to fix upstream data
