Senior Manager Data Center Hardware Support (sydney Location)

This role manages teams responsible for end-to-end hardware installation, troubleshooting, and network communications within data center and customer environments. The Senior Manager will oversee regional operations, address complex technical issues, ensure adherence to SOPs and security controls, and drive team development and collaboration with service, development, and external vendor teams. The role also involves managing projects, ensuring quality assurance, and compliance with health and safety guidelines.

What you'd actually do

  1. Manages teams conducting end-to-end on-site hardware installation, removing and troubleshooting hardware and configurations for a region.
  2. Oversees operations across teams performing server upgrades and component replacements for an existing customer base for a region.
  3. Oversees teams implementing designed and defined network communications and solutions, including cabling validation and networking equipment for a region.
  4. Coordinates additional resources or subject matter experts to address highly complex or unresolved issues.
  5. Oversees data centre environments, customer environments, and/or operations for a region, addresses identified and escalated complex trends, and ensures problem resolutions are documented.
