This role is for a Senior Manager of Low-Voltage Vendor Management within Oracle's Data Center Organization. The position focuses on strategic leadership, people management, vendor relationship and performance management, process optimization, risk and compliance, cross-functional collaboration, and budget management. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in vendor management and people leadership, preferably in the data center or infrastructure industry, with strong business acumen and negotiation skills. Knowledge of data center operations and low-voltage systems is required.

What you'd actually do

  1. Develop and implement the long-term strategy for Low-Voltage Vendor Management, aligning it with Oracle's overall data center objectives and global expansion plans.
  2. Lead, coach, and mentor a team of Technical Program Managers and other direct reports, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  3. Establish and maintain strong relationships with key low-voltage vendors, ensuring strategic alignment and partnership.
  4. Design and implement standardized processes for vendor engagement, qualification, and performance monitoring across all data center sites.
  5. Develop risk mitigation strategies related to low-voltage vendors, ensuring business continuity and data center operational readiness.

Skills

  • 12+ years of progressive experience in vendor management, program/project management, or a related field
