Expedia Group is seeking a Senior Manager, Design to lead brand-led creative work across campaigns and B2B communications. This role involves setting creative direction, shaping concepts, guiding execution, and managing a small team of designers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in brand design, campaign concepting, and visual storytelling, with experience in using AI-powered creative tools being a plus.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead creative direction for brand and campaign work, from concept through execution.
  2. Proactively guide vision for all outputs, ensuring work is thoughtful, well-crafted, and on-brand.
  3. Manage and mentor a small team of designers, providing clear direction, feedback, and support.
  4. Develop campaign concepts and visual narratives that translate strategy into compelling creative across different channels.
  5. Guide execution across multiple formats and channels, ensuring consistency and quality.

Skills

Required

  • 8+ years of experience in design-led creative roles, with time spent in agency and/or in-house environments.
  • Proven experience managing and mentoring a small design team.
  • Strong background in brand design and a solid understanding of branding principles.
  • Demonstrated experience in campaign concepting and delivering end-to-end creative outputs.
  • Excellent visual storytelling skills and a strong eye for craft, composition, and detail.
  • Comfortable balancing hands-on design with creative leadership and direction.
  • Expert skills in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma (or equivalent), with experience across digital-first and interactive work

Nice to have

  • Experience in B2B design or marketing is a plus
  • motion/animation familiarity is a plus
  • Partner with external agencies and production teams, setting the creative vision and ensuring deliverables meet our standards.
