What you'd actually do

  1. Drive the execution and delivery of features and changes by collaborating with many multi-functional teams, architects, product owners and engineers.
  2. Make critical decisions that attribute to the success of the product.
  3. Proactive in foreseeing issues and resolving it before it happens.
  4. Daily management of stand-ups as the Scrum Master for engineering teams.
  5. Partner with PO to align with objectives, priorities, tradeoffs, and risks.

Skills

Required

  • B.S/M.S. in Computer Sciences or equivalent field
  • 15+ years of relevant experience in software development
  • 8+ years of experience managing teams and leading software engineering teams
  • developing enterprise-level SaaS products
  • deploying services on public cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure)
  • leading large scale distributed systems
  • working with microservices, container orchestration and/or distributed architecture
  • data processing, data transformation and analytical technologies
  • Proficiency in at least two of the following: C++, Java, Python, C#
  • Deep knowledge of object-oriented programming
  • Strong SQL skills
  • experience with relational and non-relational databases
  • Experience in Agile methodologies
  • software engineering best practices including coding standards, SCM, CI, build processes, testing, and operations
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational and analytical skills
