Senior Manager Global Events

This role is for a Senior Manager of Global Events at F5, focusing on strategic orchestration of events to drive business growth and stakeholder engagement. The role involves managing a portfolio of curated experiences for various high-impact events, including those related to AI, and defining F5's presence, building playbooks, and overseeing budgets. It also includes team leadership, strategy development, performance tracking, and cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Finance teams. Familiarity with marketing automation and CRM systems is required.

What you'd actually do

  1. Drive the high-level strategy for the AppWorld portfolio, directing the flagship NAMER event while consulting and supporting as needed on the 8 regional events.
  2. Manage a diversified portfolio of curated experiences for high impact Security events such as RSAC, Black Hat and Gartner, Alliances events such as Google Next, Nvidia GTC and many others as well as playing a strategic role in our AI events.
  3. Define our presence, building the playbooks and audience journeys, overseeing the budgets and agencies, and ensuring that our various events work together as a cohesive system rather than standalone occurrences.
  4. Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of professional event leaders, strategically matching talent to events to ensure high-impact execution
  5. Develop and evolve a comprehensive event roadmap that aligns with F5 priorities and the broader revenue marketing strategy.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field
  • 10+ years of B2B event marketing experience, preferably in technology organizations
  • Skilled in optimizing event-driven demand generation and lead management workflows
  • Experience managing and developing teams in a fast paced, high-volume environment
  • Experience working in global, matrixed organizations
  • Experience supporting multi-region campaign execution
  • Familiarity with marketing automation platforms (Marketo, Allocadia, Cvent and CRM systems (Salesforce)
