Senior Manager, Global Incentive Compensation

Salesforce is seeking a Senior Manager for their Global Incentive Compensation team, focusing on strategy, growth, process excellence, and innovation. This role involves operational excellence in systems, tools, and processes within the Sales Compensation ecosystem, collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement sales strategy and drive operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have strong SAAS compensation plan experience, particularly with Salesforce and Xactly, and possess excellent strategic, tactical, and operational skills.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead (or contribute to) project teams focusing on key compensation initiatives related to compensation strategy, business process improvement and tool implementation or development.
  2. Work closely with cross-functional teams to implement improvements related to internal and cross functional processes
  3. Seek opportunities for process improvements through automation or integration of systems
  4. Make compensation recommendations and resolve compensation issues using a data-driven approach
  5. Write and maintain operational playbooks

Skills

Required

  • +7 years of operational responsibilities related to SAAS Sales Compensation models
  • +5 years of Business Analyst or equivalent technical experience
  • Demonstrated success in driving projects forward successfully to completion
  • Strong technical/ analytical skills with an ability to manipulate data in Excel; knowledge of formulas and pivot tables
  • Effective influencer, communication, and interpersonal skills; great listener
  • Presentation specialist skillset - ability to create visually stunning executive summary documents and presentations that highlight team status & achievements, drive discussion, summarize project details and promote brand. Excels in PowerPoint Presentations.
  • Detail-oriented, process-driven and possess the ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Performs well under pressure and can work independently and as a part of a team.
  • Program Management capability
  • BA/BS degree is required
