Senior Manager, Global Medical Affairs for Obesity will provide support for the Global Obesity Medical strategy to achieve short- and long-term Medical objectives in alignment with the overall business strategy. The incumbent is an integral member of the Global Medical team, supporting ongoing and new Medical initiatives to enable productive internal cross-functional and external professional partnerships.

What you'd actually do

  1. Supports the development and execution of Global medical strategies and tactics in support of the obesity portfolio.
  2. Assist with scientific searches, data summaries, internal training presentations as a strategic scientific/therapeutic area expert.
  3. Collaborate and ensure communication alignment among cross-functional medical partners (country medical, field medical, medical information) and other stakeholders to enhance and deliver upon Global medical plans
  4. Participate and support the review of promotional and non-promotional materials (i.e. the US review committee (RC)); within RC, partner with legal, regulatory, and marketing colleagues to ensure compliant, accurate and high-quality content of promotional and non-promotional materials.
  5. Serves as a reliable and trusted source of accurate scientific knowledge of the data, disease state, product label, and competitive data.

Skills

Required

  • Terminal Doctorate degree (PharmD, PhD, or Doctor of Nursing Practice)
  • 2+ years of relevant experience
