Senior Manager, Global Trade Operations at Anduril, a defense technology company. What you'd actually do

  1. Serve as the primary liaison with U.S. Customs & Border Protection (CBP) and global customs authorities.
  2. Oversee all import brokerage operations, including HTS classification, customs entry, valuation, country of origin, and admissibility reviews.
  3. Manage Power of Attorney (POA) relationships with customs brokers, ensuring governance and standardized SOPs across regions.
  4. Ensure compliance with defense-specific import and export regulations, including ITAR, EAR, DFARS, CTPAT, and other U.S. and allied-nation security trade controls.
  5. Develop and maintain Anduril’s global import governance program, including policies, audit protocols, and internal training.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Logistics, Business, or related field
  • 8–12+ years in global trade compliance, import operations, or customs brokerage management
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. and global customs regimes
  • Strong working knowledge of Incoterms (FOB, DDP, EXW, CIF, CPT, etc.), tariff mitigation strategies, and bonded warehouse/FTZ programs
  • Proven experience managing global brokerage networks and 3PL/4PL partnerships
  • Excellent leadership, vendor management, and stakeholder communication skills
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage both day-to-day operations and long-term strategy, while ensuring regulatory compliance
  • Excellent communication, leadership, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance
  • Ability to travel up to 20%
