It requires hands-on informatics work, ontology design, product decision-making, and cross-functional execution.

What you'd actually do

  1. Design and evolve the semantic foundation for member-facing health experiences, including ontologies, schemas, value sets, metadata models, and terminology systems.
  2. Translate complex clinical concepts into clear, safe, intuitive in-app guidance that reflects both scientific rigor and product usability.
  3. Build scalable taxonomies, controlled vocabularies, content models, and information architecture that improve consistency across app surfaces, prompts, labels, search, and future health features.
  4. Define rules and governance for how health information is classified, surfaced, reviewed, and maintained across the product lifecycle.
  5. Support personalized and AI-enabled health experiences by helping structure the safe use of wearable, survey, behavioral, and EHR data.
