Senior Manager, Material Program Management

Senior Manager, Material Program Management (MPM) in support of Depot and Maintenance operations for key Naval Programs. Responsible for overseeing end-to-end supply chain needs, shaping strategy for the support network of critical missile programs, and acting as the link between Supply Chain and cross-functional counterparts. Develops and executes Material Program Strategies and Plans, provides SCM recommendations, manages material forecasts and EACs, and interfaces with all levels of management and supplier management.

What you'd actually do

  1. Develop and execute Material Program & Subcontract Management Plans
  2. Plan and collaborate on sourcing decisions with key stakeholders and support the Make/Buy/Where process
  3. Identify Customer Prime Contract Flow-Downs and obtaining any required Terms Attachments (Flow Down Attachment) and/or Modifications (TCMs)
  4. Assist with the generation of Supplier Statements of Work (SSOWs)
  5. Active engagement and taking the lead on the Material content for proposal activities

Skills

Required

  • University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years of relevant experience, or Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum of 7 years experience
  • Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, and/or Power Point)
  • supply chain and related systems, procurement, MRP, receiving, cost estimating, and/or finance
  • supplier management and/or subcontract management
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required
  • U.S. citizenship is required

Nice to have

  • SAP/PRISM and the Supply Chain suite of tools
  • PDM and Engineering applications
