Senior Manager, Material Program Management at RTX, a defense company. This role leads a team of Material Program Managers, developing and executing material program strategies and plans for products and programs from front-end to full-rate production. What you'd actually do

  1. Be responsible for the development, coordination and execution of all program material strategies, supply chain objectives, and enterprise objectives.
  2. Lead a team of Material Program Managers at RVS.
  3. Develop and support Supply Chain proposal activities including task descriptions and basis of estimates that support price to win (PTW) targets.
  4. Develop and execute material program plans (MPP).
  5. Establish Material Sales Forecasts for assigned programs.

Skills

Required

  • University degree or equivalent experience and minimum of 10 years prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum of 7 years of prior relevant experience
  • Experience working in an Integrated Product Team (IPT) environment
  • Proposals/Estimating and/or Basis of Estimates (BOEs) experience
  • Experience working with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS)
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance

Nice to have

  • Experience with government regulations (i.e., FAR/DFAR, ITAR/EAR, TINA, etc.)
  • Experience managing program cost and schedule
  • Experience with Tableau, Kinaxis, Business Warehouse or PowerBI
