Senior Manager, Networking Application

This role is for a Senior Manager in Networking Application Engineering at NVIDIA. The primary focus is on managing a team that supports AI fabric technologies and high-performance computing, working closely with customers and R&D teams to resolve complex issues across hardware, firmware, and systems. While the role is within an AI-focused company and supports AI infrastructure, the core craft is not AI/ML model development but rather networking and system-level engineering.

What you'd actually do

  1. Mentor new team members and enable existing team members to thrive.
  2. Support new AI fabric technologies based on NVIDIA networking solutions.
  3. Gain our customers’ trust, understand their needs, and translate them into technical actions and priorities.
  4. Work closely with multiple R&D teams from broad disciplines.
  5. Drive cooperation and alignment between AE, R&D, sales, business, and operations.

Skills

Required

  • BSc in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent; MSc is an advantage or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ overall years of experience in networking, FW PHY, SerDes, or system-level development / application engineering
  • 4+ years of team management experience
  • Proven technical leadership and people management experience (team lead or manager).
  • Strong understanding of high-speed networking, Ethernet, InfiniBand, NVlink and PCIe and system bring-up.
  • Experience working directly with customers, OEMs/ODMs, or large-scale deployments.
  • High-level communication and presentation skills, including the ability to present to executives and customers.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset in a multi-site, multicultural environment.
  • Proven record of leading critical customer escalations to successful resolution.

Nice to have

  • Experience with NVIDIA networking products (Spectrum switches, BlueField DPUs, ConnectX adapters).
  • Hands-on work with transceivers, cables, and high-speed signal integrity.
  • Firmware development experience in a networking or semiconductor company.
  • Knowledge of networking protocols, scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.), and deep problem-solving in complex systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and scale application engineering or field teams and improve processes.
