This role leads hardware operations programs across the full product lifecycle, from NPI to mass production. It involves managing a team of Operations Program Managers, architecting capacity and ramp plans, and overseeing relationships with global Contract Manufacturers to optimize yield, quality, throughput, and cost. The role requires deep expertise in hardware operations, supply chain risk management, and financial acumen for managing budgets and capital expenditures.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead and mentor a team of Operations Program Managers spanning NPI and Sustaining programs, bridging product innovation and global manufacturing excellence across the full lifecycle.
  2. Drive supply chain readiness for new product launches and sustaining programs, ensuring delivery on schedule, scale, cost, and quality from EVT through high-volume mass production.
  3. Oversee on-the-ground factory operations and own executive-level relationships with Contract Manufacturers (CMs), ensuring KPIs for yield, quality, and throughput are consistently met or exceeded across all programs.
  4. Lead NPI program execution from concept through PRQ, partnering with Engineering and Product Management on supplier down-selections, launch strategy, and ramp planning.
  5. Lead the Post Ramp Qualification (PRQ) framework, making high-stakes decisions on product changes necessitated by material shortages, quality improvements, or cost-reduction initiatives.
