Senior Manager, OTTAVA Communications for Johnson & Johnson MedTech's Surgery business, responsible for creating strategic communications programs for surgical robotics and digital surgery. This role involves employee and culture communications, executive communications, strategic messaging, thought leadership, media relations, social media, and campaign activations, working closely with R&D, clinical, medical, and business teams.

What you'd actually do

  1. create strategic communications programs that drive business outcomes
  2. elevate our innovation story across surgical robotics and advanced surgical technologies for Johnson & Johnson MedTech’s Surgery business
  3. build a deep understanding of surgery, technology development, clinical and medical data, and market opportunities that will inform an integrated global communications plan
  4. work closely with cross-functional teams
  5. work closely with the Director to bring together R&D, clinical, medical, and business milestones to inform communications activations

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field
  • 8+ years of professional experience in communications, marketing communications, public affairs, or related fields
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate and influence without authority
