Senior Manager of Platform Engineering leading teams responsible for the modernization and operation of a high-volume, low-latency payment network (PULSE) on AWS, migrating from HPE NonStop to cloud-native microservices.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead and develop a high-performing engineering team, cultivating a supportive environment grounded in continuous improvement, psychological safety, and accountability.
  2. Define performance metrics (KPIs), perform regular reviews, and champion the professional development and career progression of all team members.
  3. Oversee the development, operation, and modernization of high-volume transaction processing applications, specifically those critical to the 24x7 HPE NonStop payment switching infrastructure.
  4. Spearhead the migration of highly resilient, on-premises HPE NonStop switching and authorization systems to a cloud-native, low-latency microservices architecture on AWS.
  5. Maintain deep technical engagement: set robust engineering standards, deliver high-quality design and code critiques, and occasionally contribute code to resolve complex, strategic challenges.
