Senior Manager, Product and Technology Communications

Salesforce Salesforce · Enterprise · Seattle, WA +4

Salesforce is seeking a Senior Manager, Product and Technology Communications to craft the narrative around their AI CRM and "System of Context" architecture. This role bridges technical concepts with media understanding, focusing on how AI agents use data for enterprise AI. The candidate will translate complex AI and platform technologies into compelling stories for business and tech media, partnering with Product and Engineering to identify and communicate disruptive features.

What you'd actually do

  1. Develop and land the story of Salesforce foundational architecture layer, the System of Context, including how it functions as the enterprise’s “shared memory” that transforms raw, fragmented data into governed, actionable context for AI agents.
  2. Partner deeply with Product and Engineering to identify disruptive features—from AI-powered workflows to data integrations—mining for stories before they hit the market.
  3. Build and cultivate a new network of relationships with emerging media, influential tech creators, and Substack writers to reach the next generation of customers.
  4. Translate complex enterprise AI concepts into relatable narratives for mainstream and consumer-centric media, illustrating how agentic technology improves the daily lives and experiences of individual humans.
  5. Lead the end-to-end comms lifecycle for product launches, including messaging frameworks and technical FAQs, while ghostwriting high-impact blog posts, scripts, and bylines to drive the narrative.
