Senior Manager, Product Management role focused on optimizing the Workday platform efficiency, increasing engineer enablement, and experimenting with new features. The role involves reducing tech debt, improving cycle times, and partnering with enterprise teams on innovation pilots. Requires strong product leadership, analytical acumen, and process engineering skills within a technology-driven environment.

What you'd actually do

  1. Build and drive delivery of an outcome-based strategy and roadmap focused on optimizing platform efficiency, increasing engineer enablement, and experimentation with new features both within the Workday ecosystem and with internal Enterprise tooling
  2. Lead efforts to dramatically reduce tech debt, increase efficiency for the core Workday platform, and reclaim capacity for broader investment. Foundational goals include decreasing cycle time for reviews, releases, and manual processes, including manual coordination, data correction and configuration rework across the platform.
  3. Have proven experience working in ambiguous spaces with the ability to conduct comprehensive analysis to identify the biggest pain points and define clear success metrics and present a business case to executive leadership
  4. Because this is a highly visible role, strong, proactive communication skills are a must with the ability to adapt for different audiences and present in different mediums (slides, PRDs, demos)
  5. Identify and analyze new use cases and opportunities for platform enablement (e.g. Workday developer tooling)
