What you'd actually do

  1. Up-level publicity campaign workflow and execution, and instill publicity excellence amongst team members as the team and business scale.
  2. Work closely with and act as a strategic thought partner to peers within Marketing, Content, and Communications, as well as execute Country, title, and brand campaign strategy.
  3. Serve as an expert on Japan, conveying its specific cultural needs and nuances within the company.
  4. Autonomously manage cross-functional relationships across multiple internal and external stakeholders.
  5. Develop and maintain relationships with a variety of high-profile traditional and new/emerging media, including influencers/ digital creators.

Skills

Required

  • 15+ years of experience in building strategic and creative PR campaigns
  • Deep knowledge, passion, or interest in the entertainment industry
  • Fluency in Japanese
  • Strong people-management skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
