Senior Manager, Revenue Recognition

Salesforce is seeking a Senior Manager, Revenue Recognition to lead their Latin America team. This role involves partnering with Sales, Legal, and Pricing teams, reviewing customer contracts for revenue recognition compliance under ASC 606, and managing a team across multiple countries. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in SaaS revenue recognition, team leadership, and executive communication.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead and develop a team of 7 across Mexico, Brazil, and Argentina
  2. Own revenue recognition strategy and execution for Latin America across all Salesforce products, clouds, services, and acquired entities (including Informatica), alliances, and resellers
  3. Serve as a trusted advisor for customer contract negotiations and perform contract review for revenue recognition compliance
  4. Serve as an escalation point for complex contract reviews and revenue recognition matters under ASC 606
  5. Build and maintain strong relationships with senior leaders in the region and around the globe (including Finance, Legal, and Deal Desk leadership)

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent relevant experience
  • 7+ years relevant revenue recognition experience
  • Proven experience leading multi-country or global accounting teams
  • Verbal and written communication skills with ability to present ideas in a clear, concise fashion to technical and non-technical audiences as well as high level executives
  • Fluent Spanish and English
  • Project Management skills including planning, task assignment, status tracking and reporting

Nice to have

  • Primary audit and ASC 606 experience in SaaS/software industry
  • CPA strongly desired
  • Portuguese is strongly preferred
  • A blend of public accounting and industry experience
