Senior Manager Site Planning role in Johnson & Johnson's Innovative Medicines Supply Chain, responsible for leading a team of planners to create and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS), manage inventory targets, and ensure reliable product supply for clinical and commercial programs. Requires strong supply chain planning experience, people management, and proficiency in SAP.

What you'd actually do

  1. Create, develop, and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS) to ensure that customer requirements and inventory targets are met, while facilitating efficient manufacturing operations. Proactively identify constraints or potential issues and develop options for resolution.
  2. Develop and implement simulations, reports, and presentations to support management decisions on asset/product level for the Supply Review Meetings (SRM).
  3. Ensures site adherence to the Monthly Planning Process and provide input to the Integrated Business Process (IBP).
  4. Provide site inventory projections and analyze actuals versus projections. Identify and implement inventory management opportunities that improve profitability through cost reduction, cost avoidance, and process improvements.
  5. Own the site Short-Term Exception Management (STEM) process.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in science, Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management or related field
  • 8+ years of relevant Supply Chain experience (including manufacturing, logistics, planning)
  • Strong written and oral communications skills (English required, German desirable)
  • Supply chain planning experience
  • Experience working across organizational boundaries in a global environment
  • SAP experience
  • Ability to develop and coach a team
  • Ability to lead multiple initiatives
  • Ability to partner with and influence others without direct authority
  • Strong communication, analytical and quantitative skills
  • Uses business and financial acumen
  • High proficiency with Microsoft software packages (Excel, PowerPoint)
