Senior Manager, Site Selection Manager

The Site Selection Manager will identify, evaluate, and advance data center site opportunities across the Americas, partnering with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure deals progress efficiently from market screening through lease execution and delivery readiness. This role requires extensive experience in data center site selection, due diligence, and commercial negotiations, with a strong understanding of utility infrastructure and regulatory frameworks.

What you'd actually do

  1. Identify, evaluate, and advance data center opportunities across the U.S. and the Americas markets.
  2. Lead site-level due diligence including power and utility capacity, substation access, utility timelines, fiber availability, zoning, permitting, environmental considerations, and constructability.
  3. Support lease negotiations and commercial structuring in partnership with Real Estate and Legal.
  4. Maintain accurate site records, documentation, and status updates in Salesforce and internal tracking systems.
  5. Serve as the primary site-level point of coordination across Engineering, Capacity Planning, Networking, Finance, Legal, and Operations.

  • Proven track record of advancing complex transactions from inception to close while identifying and mitigating commercial and operational risks.
  • Able to partner effectively with internal stakeholders and external vendors to drive project execution and meet organizational milestones.
  • Proficient in managing project lifecycles across multiple domestic regions and the ability to coordinate across varying time zones.
