Senior Manager, Customer Advocacy role at New Relic, focused on leading technical teams (Solution Consultants, Architects, Technical Success Managers) to drive growth, expansion, and customer success for an observability platform in an AI-first world. Responsibilities include operationalizing market strategy, driving revenue, coaching teams, building stakeholder relationships, ensuring platform adoption, maintaining technical excellence, and collaborating with Product/Engineering.

What you'd actually do

  1. Operationalize Market Strategy: Execute a APJ-specific go-to-market strategy that aligns with global objectives and local market demands.
  2. Drive Revenue Growth: Partner closely with Sales leadership to drive new customer acquisition and platform expansion. You will be responsible for ensuring technical teams deliver against sales targets, NRR, and ARR goals.
  3. Leadership & Coaching: Lead and mentor a high-performing team of technical professionals. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning that reflects business values.
  4. Stakeholder Relationships: Cultivate relationships with technical leaders and key stakeholders at major accounts, acting as a trusted advisor and ensuring New Relic’s value proposition is realized.
  5. Platform Adoption: Drive value-led interactions to ensure sustainable platform usage. Help customers mature their observability practices and instrument business-critical applications to maximize their ROI.

Skills

Required

  • 12+ years of experience in technical sales, solution consulting, or customer success
  • 5–7 years in people management
  • Proven track record of leading technical teams
  • Strong understanding of sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDPICC)
  • Strong background in cloud computing (AWS, Azure, GCP) and observability
  • Familiarity with AI (Generative, Ops, Agentic), ITSM, DevOps, SRE, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field

  • Experience working within a Software Consumption-based business model
