Senior Manager, Strategic Merchant Operations

This role is for a Senior Manager of Strategic Merchant Operations at Uber Delivery, focusing on scaling the delivery platform for large merchants in the US & Canada. The responsibilities include developing and executing strategies to grow merchant business, reduce costs, and improve satisfaction with the Uber Eats platform, while collaborating with internal product and local teams, and external merchant corporate teams and franchisors. The role requires strong operational prowess, stakeholder leadership, collaboration, and innovative thinking.

What you'd actually do

  1. Work closely with the other leaders on the Strategic Merchant Operations team to execute on the team's mission and vision.
  2. Identify, outline, plan and work with the team to execute opportunities that allow strategic merchants to grow their business, reduce their costs, lean into newly developed Uber Products and/or improve their satisfaction with the Uber Eats platform.
  3. Work cross-functionally: Collaborate with the local teams in-market, Product teams, and other cross-functional partners to bring product and process needs to fruition in the region. Externally, collaborate with corporate merchant teams and major franchisors across the US.
  4. Initiate creative solutions to get results at scale for the region, and globally for large and small merchants alike.
  5. Work with US & Canada Restaurant Ops and other key individuals to help scale our business through developing and sharing innovative ways of working.

Skills

Required

  • 6+ years of experience in strategy, operations, consulting, analytics, tech, finance, or related field.
  • 2+ years in a people management position.
