Senior Manager, Strategy & Planning

This role is a Senior Manager of Strategy & Planning for Customer Success at MongoDB. The primary focus is on driving analytical rhythms, partnering with senior leadership on customer and market analyses, conceptualizing and piloting new programs, and leading business planning for CS teams. The role requires experience in sales strategy, consulting, sales operations, or analytics, with a quantitative degree and experience supervising direct reports. SQL and BI tool experience are preferred.

What you'd actually do

  1. Help drive the analytical rhythm of our business including quarterly business reviews, org deep dives
  2. Partner with Senior leadership to drive customer, market and segment specific analyses to uncover insight
  3. Become an expert in business and CS rules
  4. Conceptualize and pilot new programs to test the effectiveness of various roles / comp plans / engagement mechanisms
  5. Lead the quarterly and annual business planning for the CS teams

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree with a quantitative focus
  • 5+ years of work experience in either Sales Strategy / Consulting / Sales Operations / Analytics
  • Experience supervising direct reports
  • Effective communicator who can break down convoluted technical concepts into simple business vernacular
  • Experience with at least one major business intelligence tool (Tableau,Google Data Studio,Looker)
  • Can navigate your way around Salesforce.com with relative ease

Nice to have

  • Strong SQL knowledge with an ability to write SQL queries to extract data needed for analysis
