Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition

This role is for a Senior Manager of Talent Acquisition at GEICO, focused on supporting the Operations organization. What you'd actually do

  1. Serve as the primary Talent Acquisition relationship, building trusted partnerships with business leaders and stakeholders
  2. Manage team to enable use of data and build sourcing strategies for hard to fill roles and to ensure hiring needs are met
  3. Partner with leadership to understand workforce needs, hiring priorities, and organizational changes that impact recruiting demand
  4. Translate business needs into actionable recruiting strategies and collaborate with recruiting teams to drive timely, high-quality hiring outcomes
  5. Lead regular talent planning discussions and provide updates, insights, and recommendations on hiring progress and market trends

Skills

Required

  • 8+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, business partnership, or relationship management
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong partnerships with senior leaders and influence cross-functional stakeholders
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to understand organizational priorities and translate them into talent solutions
  • Experience using data, insights, and market information to guide decision-making and improve outcomes
  • Excellent communication, consultation, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment

Nice to have

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent professional experience
  • Previous experience supporting or partnering with senior leadership, insurance operations, or other complex business functions
  • Experience in a strategic Talent Acquisition partner or HR business partner capacity
  • Knowledge of the insurance industry and claims-related talent needs
  • Experience working with applicant tracking systems, HR systems, or recruiting technologies is preferred
