Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition leads a team responsible for external talent sourcing, assessment, and advising to secure talent for business operations and strategic objectives. Develops talent pipelines, enhances candidate experience, manages costs, and delivers high-quality external talent. This role may perform executive-level sourcing and research, partner with Executive Recruiters, develop sourcing strategies, craft target lists, contact prospects, conduct interviews, maintain reports, and capture market data. It maps target organizations, builds organizational charts, cultivates relationships with high-potential talent, and develops communities of talent and candidate pipelines. The role also recommends and drives process improvements, gathers data on competition and market conditions, and is responsible for the recruitment of external top talent, ensuring rigorous assessment of role capabilities and cultural fit. It develops, enables, coaches, and advises hiring managers to influence quality hiring decisions, reduce turnover, and build future bench strength. By anticipating future talent needs, proactively mapping, networking, assessing, and building pipelines, the role ensures the optimization of talent processes. It also leads a high-performing team by hiring potential talent, analyzing skill gaps, addressing performance needs, and identifying developmental opportunities. The role drives strong results and metrics, balancing qualitative and quantitative outcomes.

  3. Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition may perform executive-level sourcing and research through full lifecycle research and sourcing strategies.
  4. This position ensures exceptional delivery to candidates, hiring leaders, and executive search leads.
  5. It partners with Executive Recruiters on projects and searches, developing sourcing strategies, crafting target lists of companies and prospects, contacting high-potential prospects, conducting candidate interviews, maintaining progress reports, and capturing market data to inform the passive talent market’s story.

Skills

Required

  • 10+ years of progressive Talent Acquisition or HR experience
  • 5+ years in a TA leadership role
  • Proven experience leading enterprise or Shared Services hiring portfolios, supporting corporate, professional, and specialized roles at scale.
  • Demonstrated ability to act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, influencing talent strategy and hiring decisions in complex, matrixed environments.
  • Strong people leader with experience building, coaching, and leading hybrid TA teams
  • Strategic and data‑driven, with a track record of delivering improvements in quality of hire, time‑to‑fill, and pipeline health.
  • Comfortable operating in centralized and hybrid TA models and leveraging modern TA technology and automation.
  • Excellent executive presence, sound judgment, and ability to manage high‑impact, sensitive talent decisions.
  • Proven experience leading transformational change within Talent Acquisition, driving adoption of new processes, tools, and assessment‑led hiring practices across large functions.
