Skills

Required

  • Native-level Japanese language proficiency
  • business-level English communication skills
  • 8+ years of experience in technology organizations
  • leadership experience managing engineering, operations, SRE, infrastructure, or cloud services teams
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing, service operations, incident management, and operational excellence principles
  • Proven ability to recruit, develop, coach, and retain high-performing technical teams
  • Experience leading teams supporting mission-critical production environments and 24x7 operational support models
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Experience driving operational improvements through metrics, automation, process optimization, and service reviews
  • Excellent communication, decision-making, and crisis management skills
