Senior Manager, Technology Operations

Walmart Walmart · Retail · Bentonville, AR

This role is a Business Lead for Walmart's intelligent orchestration layer, focusing on delivering post-transaction capabilities that drive customer acquisition, retention, and profitability. The role involves discovery of new opportunities, project management with Product and Tech teams, root cause analysis, and executive communication. It is not an AI/ML development role but rather a product leadership role within an AI-enabled system.

What you'd actually do

  1. Discovery: You are a visionary who seeks out "net-new" opportunities. You will identify gaps in our sourcing or promise capabilities, quantify the business impact, and independently build the Business Requirements.
  2. Project Management: You are the "heartbeat" of your initiatives. You will partner deeply with Product and Tech teams, ensuring every stakeholder stays aligned with the original vision and hits every milestone from prototype to launch.
  3. Root Cause Analysis: You will dive into the data to solve complex problems in real-time, developing sustainable solutions that improve our tech-focused sourcing capabilities.
  4. Executive Communication: You will distill technical complexity into clear, high-level "so-whats." You’ll build enterprise-level story arcs for everyone from peers to board members, gaining buy-in with brevity and clarity.
