Visa Consulting and Analytics team is seeking a Senior Manager to lead the Implementation Services practice in the Central America & Caribbean region. This role involves engaging with clients (issuers, acquirers, merchants) to implement and execute projects and solutions that promote sustainable and profitable growth. Responsibilities include supporting product implementation and technology projects, business development, hands-on execution, financial oversight, performance management, and developing new use cases leveraging Visa's innovation, product, and data capabilities. The role requires a strong understanding of payment P&L, digital transformation, and project management, with a focus on driving payment volume, revenue growth, and efficiencies.

What you'd actually do

  1. Support VIS team in developing new use cases related to product implementation support and technology projects, such as development of new products, implementation of Visa’s products and services into issuers, acquirers and merchants.
  2. Actively contributes to the growth of the practice by building pipeline in the markets of their assignment, not limited to them.
  3. This role requires a significant portion of time dedicated to hands-on execution and implementation activities. The role will not only oversee strategic planning and stakeholder management but will also be directly involved in driving project deliverables, coordinating resources, resolving issues, and ensuring the timely and high-quality deployment of digital payment solutions.
  4. Responsible of the correct operation of their team, budget, tracking expenses, expenses-strategy alignment and team staffing.
  5. Track and measure projects KPI’s. Analyze results, provide insights and foster a virtuous cycle of continuous improvement.

Skills

Required

  • 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD
  • Fluent Spanish and English

Nice to have

  • 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD
  • Bachelor degree in quantitative fields such as industrial engineering, business administration, economics, and finance. Masters Degree in related fields a plus.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in financial services industry, payments, consulting or similar.
  • Knowledge and experience in financial-banking product development and product management
  • Technological driven mindset, digitally savvy and up to date with latest market and industry analytical and digital trends.
  • Problem solving ability with strategic focus on influencing ROI. Understanding of card and payment P&L and critical factors driving profitability.
  • Experience executing digital and platform transformation projects and managing several implementation squads simultaneously seeking flawless delivery and efficiency
  • Ability managing technological solutions and products implementation projects to secure timely go to market
