Senior Manufacturing Data Analyst responsible for the end-to-end manufacturing data workflow, including extraction, validation, analysis, visualization, and executive-level reporting. The role supports manufacturing leadership by delivering actionable insights on production performance, capacity, schedule adherence, and cost, enabling improved execution, cost control, and delivery performance. This role also involves analyzing manufacturing costs, supporting scenario analysis, and collaborating cross-functionally.

What you'd actually do

  1. Independently extract, integrate, and analyze manufacturing data from multiple systems (ERP/MRP, APS, MES, cost systems, and databases)
  2. Own data validation and reconciliation across systems to ensure accuracy, consistency, and trust in reporting
  3. Design, build, and maintain standardized dashboards and reports using SQL and Power BI
  4. Analyze manufacturing cost per part, assemblies, and end items
  5. Perform trend analysis and identify constraints, risks, and improvement opportunities

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher
  • Strong SQL ability
  • 3+ years of experience with MRP (Material Requirements Planning)
  • 3+ years of using advanced features in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, and Power Point
  • 3+ years of experience with Tableau, Power BI, Cognos, or other visualization tools
  • 3+ years of experience in performing manufacturing process improvements and LEAN+/cost reductions
  • Experience analyzing data, identifying issues and making recommendations for improvements associated with a value stream that resulted in change and improved business position
  • Confident in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities, and able to multi-task and manage expectations
  • Experience in producing and presenting presentations at the Executive level
  • Experience working with and partnering with cross-functional teams on projects and initiatives

Nice to have

  • Experience in an aerospace or regulated manufacturing environment (AS9100 awareness)
  • Exposure to APS tools, MES systems, or capacity modeling
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement metrics
  • Experience with data automation or scripting (e.g., Python)
  • Experience supporting leadership decision-making with analytics
