Senior Manufacturing Engineer, Analytics

This role focuses on optimizing manufacturing operations within a defense technology company by analyzing production data, implementing strategies to enhance productivity and quality, and leading process improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing principles. The role requires strong analytical and data visualization skills, experience with manufacturing software, and a background in manufacturing strategy or analysis.

What you'd actually do

  1. Work with manufacturing leadership to develop and implement manufacturing strategies that enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve quality.
  2. Conduct detailed analysis of manufacturing data, including production metrics, process flow, and resource utilization, to identify areas for improvement.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of manufacturing strategies with overall business objectives.
  4. Monitor industry trends and best practices to keep our manufacturing processes at the cutting edge.
  5. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of manufacturing processes and strategies for continuous improvement.
