This role is for a Senior Marketing Excellence Operations & Communications Lead at Microsoft, focusing on driving marketing growth through operational rigor, performance governance, and clear field communications. The responsibilities include owning marketing scorecards, leading performance reviews, orchestrating cross-team planning, operationalizing marketing tooling, and managing communications strategy. What you'd actually do

  1. Own the Integrated Customer and Through‑Partner Marketing Scorecard and ROB with marketing leaders, ensuring clear visibility into pipeline impact, targets, and ROI.
  2. Lead connected sales and marketing reviews across operation units to review investments, assess performance and identify gaps across demand generation and signal execution.
  3. Lead annual and in‑year planning across Marketing Excellence, ensuring alignment on priorities, investments, and success metrics.
  4. Operationalize Smart Campaigns (OBO) for targeted, at‑scale seller‑to‑customer outreach, partnering across marketing and sales teams to ensure readiness, adoption, and execution quality.
  5. Lead Marketing Excellence communications strategy and execution to ensure clarity, consistency, and engagement across stakeholders.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Engineering, or related field AND 4+ years experience in business consulting, sales, sales operations, information technology (IT), account management, business development, marketing, IT field sales, or a related field OR equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years experience in in Near Term Strategy (1-2 years out), Management Consulting, or Finance.

  • Understanding of marketing metrics, funnel performance, and pipeline impact
  • Experience leading cross‑functional planning and executing at scale
